Live from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas the WWE Royal Rumble is primed to be one of most fearsome 30 man mash-ups in memory. Now in its 30th year, the winner of this smash of the titans will go on to challenge for the World Championship at WrestleMania in April.

Filling out the 30-man roster in this year's rumble stands veteran head-crusher Goldberg having just destroyed Brock Lesnar during their previous encounter. Lesner, who will be looking to set the record straight (with the aid of a collapsible chair), has also confirmed he will be taking part in the rumble in an effort to rescue some of his dented pride. We'll also see a return of The Undertaker, Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho, who will be suspended from the ring in a shark cage.

Be it Ric Flair winning in 1992, John Cena's surprise return in 2008 and Stone Cold Steve Austin ‘bending’ the rules to beat Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart in 1997, Royal Rumbles have a habit of spawning some of wrestling's most memorable moments.
